Giza has defined a pre-seed and seed stage investment plan called the Ofek Program. The goal of this program is to secure investment in high-quality seed opportunities at the earliest possible stage. Ofek investments are made utilizing a milestone-based approach in order to mitigate risks. Initial investments are relatively small, up to $700K, with the goal of leading a more substantial Round A if the companies meet their milestones.

The Ofek Program also encompasses EIR investments, in which Giza brings experienced entrepreneurs and managers in-house in order to create a new business or to take an active part in a venture that lacks leadership.

With Ofek investments, decisions are reached as quickly as possible as Ofek is Giza’s way of acting like an Angel investor. Generally Internet/New Media/Gaming companies are the best candidates for such investments.
